Why I Took Film

Way back to 2013, when I was about to fill up my UPCAT application, I saw Mom's face becoming very pale and weak. I didn't mind that at first because the application mattered most than anything else. Mom said my only choice outside Iloilo is UP Los Banos or UP Diliman so I have to work hard on it. If I didn't pass UPCAT, then I'll stay at West Visayas State University with Mass Communication. Of course, I didn't want that to happen; not that I don't want to stay at West but I have spent my whole high school life in that school. I want to come out of my comfort zone and explore what's outside West.

The day I finally took the UPCAT was so challenging. I just answered it in every way I can but failing my Mom would be most heartbreaking than my own failure. I don't want to see my Mom being sad because I didn't make it.

First Blog Post + Life Update

Anyway, I started to blog because I learned that blogging is also a way to unload stress aside from sharing it to your peers. People close to me knows that I am too personal about what I am going through and I only seldom share some events that made me happy or whatsoever. I discovered blogging through my best friend, Kai, who's been on the interwebz since 2015. I owe this blog to you, Sky!

As I read blogs online, especially the with the 'personal' niche, Oh No, Dorothy! will become one. I do not intend to make this blog a money making blog so uhm, you'll get to read more personal stuff coming from me.
